A Declaration of Intent.

L, a three and a half year old boy I home-tutor, was ill today.
So we spent the morning sitting on the couch, watching the Balamory Christmas Pantomime, Cinderella.

The romanticism seems to have gone to the wee man's head. As Prince Charming proposed to his beloved, L hugged me and proclaimed "I'm gonna marry you. You're my girlfriend."

My dear chap, if only you knew.

It's well established that I'm his property when in that house. His brother gets told quite often "Go Away, that's my (kittybeard)".
However, if marriage was on my list of priorities, I'm not sure my biological clock would be up for waiting the 15 years til he's of marriagable age.
